Recap – IT Fight Series 30

[tps_title]McCavit making noise[/tps_title]

All of a sudden, Tim McCavit (4-1) is one of the best MMA prospects in Ohio. The Iron Tiger team member has now won four fights in a row, all via stoppage in the first round. His power is great for the welterweight division, and although he still has some holes in his game and is a little wild at times, he makes opponents fight his kind of fight and puts them in bad positions.

The gameplan for Caleb Fickert (2-2) was to stay on the outside and pick his shots, and that lasted all of a couple of minutes before he was drawn into a fire fight with Timmy, which very few fighters have a shot at winning. McCavit was the 2014 IT Fight Series pro fighter of the year, and a few more performances like that could net him that award yet again this year.
