Fabled Brew Works
331 Kenton Lands Rd Suite 300, Erlanger
Fabled Brew Works is a brewery in Erlanger in Kenton County, Kentucky that opened in June 2023.
A group of friends joined together who have been homebrewing for years and traveling to different beer festivals to start the brewery.
The brewery also produces mead and will occupies around 4,000 square feet of a newly built 24,000 square foot building. They also have an 800 square foot patio. They don’t have food, but regularly host food trucks.
For beer, they varied styles, but they focus on sours, barrel-aged beers, and IPAs. They will have a fantasy theme, with echoes of Dungeons & Dragons and Lord of the Rings in their beer names and taproom design.
Brewer John Ewers, formerly of Streetside and Listermann, joined as their head brewer and co-owner. Ewers is known for his barrel-aged pastry stouts and New England IPAs, which seems to fit well with the planned brewing style of Fabled Brew Works.
Interestingly, the city of Erlanger didn’t previously allow taprooms connected to breweries, so the group had to receive approval from the city, which it did in September 2022.
