IT Fight Series kicked off what promises to be a busy 2015 slate for the organization on Saturday night, as IT Fight Series 30 went down at Bellefontaine High School in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
Two pro fights and eleven amateur fights filled the fight card, with a nice mix of close decisions, submissions, and knockouts taking place. In the main event, Tim McCavit continued his hot streak, finishing Caleb Fickert via TKO in the first round. It was yet another impressive stoppage win for McCavit, who continues to rise up the ranks of fighters in Ohio and could be on the national stage sooner rather than later.
A pair of flyweights had fans in attendance on their feet for a good portion of their 15-minute battle, and some of IT Fight Series’ fan favorites were in attendance to receive 2014 awards, including pro fighter Alfred Leisure, Jayde Sheeley, McCavit, and more. BluegrassMMA was also named the 2014 media outlet of the year by IT Fight Series.
