Dead Low Brewing

Dead Low Brewing
5959 Kellogg Ave, California

Situated along the Ohio River right off of I-275 and in the shadow of Riverbend Music Center, Dead Low Brewing was founded in 2019 by a brother and sister team that also were founding members of the Big Ash Brewing co-operative.

Dead Low features a large beer garden, as well as a full kitchen, and the name “dead low” represents the minimum amount of water that a boat can float on. The taproom is light and airy, featuring a rustic-industrial combo feel on the inside. Dead Low brews cider as well as beer.

Dead Low also features a private event space and and corporate event space. Their taproom is located just by softball fields near the Ohio River, so it’s a common place for groups to gather after games.

Must-try beer: Gunnel (Imperial Honey Lager) – Not a style that you see every day, Dead Low’s Gunnel is something a little different. At 8%, this imperial lager is brewed to be something different.

Other great beers: Outrigger, Woodhawk
