Moerlein Lager House

The Moerlein Lager House, located at The Banks, is a large brewpub serving Christian Moerlein beer as well as craft beer from various brands.
In 2020, new Moerlein owners Cincinnati Beverage Company ceased its production operations and now brands like Christian Moerlein, Little Kings, Hudepohl, and Burger are brewed on contract at another local brewery.
The Lager House is owned by Indiana’s Cunningham Restaurant Group, which owns Bru Burger Bar in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Must-try beer: Barbarossa (Dunkel) – Not every brewery makes a dunkel, but with their German roots, it only makes sense for Moerlein to brew one. This one is a deep reddish-brown color and has a nice balance with some toastiness. It also won a silver medal at the 2022 US Open Beer Championship.
