MPH Brewing
7880 Remington Rd, Montgomery
MPH Brewing opened in May 2020 as Montgomery’s first brewery in the former Pomodori’s. The brewery offers beer, wine and select liquor, appetizers, and brick oven pizza. The taproom is inspired by pubs in the U.K. and also has a large outdoor patio.
For beer, they focus on English, German, and Belgian styles brewed by longtime homebrewer and part owner Bill Bolger and brewmaster JC Jordan.
In a unique and intriguing move, MPH has also teamed up with Colorado’s well-respected Left Hand Brewing to host regular guest taps in their taproom. This adds a ton of legitimacy to what MPH is doing, and it makes a ton of sense as their general manager is the cousin of the president of the multi-time Great American Beer Fest winning brewery.
Must-try beer: Arm’s Length (light ale) – MPH has been focusing on drinkable classic styles for their opening, and Arm’s Length fits that bill perfectly. Brewing simple yet delcious beers is a great way for a brewery to prove that they can walk before they run.
Other great beers: Napoleon’s Revenge, Daily Double
