Mash Cult Brewing

Mash Cult Brewing
6823 Burlington Pike, Florence (Party Town)

Mash Cult Brewing started inside Party Town in Florence, Kentucky in early 2015, with a nano brewery started by Jon Wells and Tony Harrell in the party store’s warehouse.

Wells sadly passed away in 2021, causing the brewery to have a yearlong hiatus. Harrell returned to brewing, however, and Mash Cult resumed near the end of 2022.

Mash Cult doesn’t have a traditional taproom, but their beers are available at the growler station inside of Party Town. They specialize in different takes on new and old style beers, and they usually have something unique available.

Must-try beer: Who Shot Ya? (Imperial IPA) – I’m not sure if they even make this any more, but this is a nice juicy double IPA. I’m also not sure if it’s advertised as being “hazy,” but it looks like a thick orange juice and drinks just as citrusy and smooth. Mash Cult is lesser known and hard to find, but they’ve got some good stuff.

Other great beers: Ramathorn, Dump ‘Em Out Stout
