Hi-Wire Brewing Cincinnati

Hi-Wire Brewing Cincinnati
4600 Beech St, Norwood (Factory 52)

Hi-Wire Brewing Cincinnati opened in April 2023 as the first Ohio location for the North Carolina brewery that originally opened in 2013.

Hi-Wire Brewing Cincinnati will be the tenth location for the Ashville, North Carolina-based brewery: six in North Carolina (three in Asheville, Durham, Wilmington, and Charlotte), one in Tennessee (Knoxville, with one coming soon in Nashville), one in Alabama (Birmingham), and one in Kentucky (Louisville).

The taproom features tons of natural light, and multiple murals featuring funky colors, including a queen of hearts prominently displayed next to the main bar.

Hi-Wire Brewing Cincinnati is part of the $100 million Factory 52 development. Their location is two floors, with 5,800 square feet and 22 taps on the ground floor, and a 3,800 square foot third floor rooftop with 10 more taps. The rooftop overlooks the main lawn at Factory 52, which features a stage and will host weekly events.

Factory 52 is the former U.S. Playing Card headquarters and is known for its iconic clock tower, which remains as a centerpiece of the new development. Hi-Wire won’t be the only brewery represented at the Norwood location, as Fretboard Brewing Company will open a taproom inside the Gatherall food hall this summer.

Factory 52 will also feature the first Cincinnati Jeni’s Ice Cream location, a pickleball complex, a dog park, and residential units.

Hi-Wire has won awards at Great American Beer Festival and the World Beer Cup and is known for approachable IPAs like their Hi-Pitch Mosaic IPA and Lo-Pitch Hazy IPA as well as their 10W-40 Imperial Stout.
