Rock Bottom Brewery (closed)

Rock Bottom Brewery
10 Fountain Sq, Fountain Square

Rock Bottom is a chain brewery that opened in 1996 at Fountain Square in Downtown Cincinnati. Their food is made from scratch and most of the beer they serve is actually brewed right here in the Queen City. They usually aren’t the first name that you think of when you think of Cincinnati beer, but they aren’t the last either. It’s another good place to go if you want some decent food to go along with your brew.

In an interesting note, they’re actually the longest continually running brewery in the city, having opened their doors in 1996.

They have a lot of your regular craft beers including their IPA (6.5%), Red Rocks Red Ale (5.7%), and their Kolsch (5%).

Must-try beer: Rocktoberfest – I love Oktoberfest beers, and Rock Bottom’s is an underrated version. It’s nice and malty and comes in huge steins.

Other great beers: Hop Bomb, Kolsch
