A trio of Pittsburgh-area fighters will head south to West Virginia, as Caged Power 10 is set to go down in Morgantown with a combined professional MMA and boxing card.
In one of the featured bouts, Dominic Mazzotta (4-1) will face Ohio product Bhrandon Poindexter (1-0). Mazzotta looks for his second win in a row, while Evolve MMA’s Poindexter looks to stay unbeaten in his pro career while also picking up his fifth win overall. After losing to current UFC fighter Cody Garbrandt last March, Mazzotta got back on the winning track in August with a decision win over Chris Dunn. Poindexter made his pro debut last July with a first round submisison over Steve Jones under the Pinnacle FC banner.
In another bout, Nick Browne (2-0) will look to build off of his recent win under the World Series of Fighting banner as he takes on Virginia’s Alan Stephenson (2-1) in a lightweight contest. Browne has won 8 in a row dating to his amateur days, including a submission over Jeff Denz in his pro debut for Pinnacle FC and a 25-second knockout over Sidney Outlaw at WSOF 13 in September. Stephenson is looking to rebound from a knockout loss in his last outing for the CFFC organization.
Other pro bouts feature Uniontown, Pennsylvania’s AJ Bosley (1-3) vs. Virginia’s Roy Sanders (0-7), and West Virginia native Nathan Bryant (3-3) vs. Keith Bell (5-5-1) at heavyweight.
