The Pittsburgh-based Gladiators of the Cage organization will head to Williamsport, Pennsylvania for GOTC MMA 15, which features a solid pro/am lineup. The top two bouts on this card are a fight fan’s dream, especially the co-main event that features fan favorite featherweight fighters Nate Landwehr (4-1) and Justin Steave (6-4) squaring off.
Landwehr is an XFC veteran who is riding high after back-to-back impressive wins over tough opponents in Keith Richardson and Adam Townsend. He is known for exciting finishes, including two knockout wins. Steave has become a fan favorite in the Western Pennsylvania area, competing regularly for Pinnacle FC, including a 57-second submission victory over Brylan Vanartsdalen in his last outing.
That fight may be getting most of the publicity, but the main event is extremely noteworthy as well, as Rocky Edwards (7-3-1) is set to meet Rex Harris (6-2) for the middleweight title. Edwards already won the GOTC welterweight title with a submission over Zac Gobel in his last outing, and the Bellator MMA veteran is riding a three-fight winning streak. Harris is an extremely aggressive fighter who has finished all of his bouts via stoppage, including five via strikes and four in the first round.
