Trotter’s Legacy MMA returns to Richmond, and a pro/am lineup is on tap, featuring two pro bouts and nine amateur bouts. In the main event, Adam Fritz (1-0) will look to stay unbeaten when he faces Ohio’s Darnell Pettis (0-1).
Fritz made his professional debut under the Trotter’s Legacy banner last August with a first round win over Nick Rodriguez. Four of his last six wins have come by submission. He will be playing the the role of local star once again after an early career of fighting on the road. Pettis had a very impressive amateur career. Pettis is a finisher, as five of his eight amateur wins came by KO or referee stoppage. His pro career has started off rocky as his first fight was ruled a no contest and he suffered a second round submission loss to Cody Gabelman back in October.
The night’s other pro bout will feature Michael Cockerham (8-14) vs. Kelly Pennington (2-8). On the amateur side of things, five titles will be on the line.
