After putting together a perfect record on the regional scene, Indianapolis native Andrew Holbrook (10-0, 0-0 UFC) is set to make his UFC debut on fairly short notice when he takes on Ramsey Nijem (9-5, 5-4 UFC) in a lightweight bout that will air on UFC Fight Pass.
After stopping his first nine opponents via submission (eight in the first round), Holbrook earned entry into the UFC with a first round TKO over Tyler Combs at Colosseum Combat XXXII in May.
The 29-year-old will face Nijem, who made his way into the UFC as a finalist on The Ultimate Fighter 13. After losing the TUF 13 Finale to Tony Ferguson, he reeld off three straight wins. Then he lost two in a row, before stopping that skid and winning two more in a row. He comes in looking to rebound from a loss in his last outing though, as he dropped a bout to Carlos Ferreira via TKO last August.
