[tps_title]IFC: Fight Night III[/tps_title]
November 15 – Owensboro, KY
The Indestructible Fight Club returns to the border city of Owensboro, Kentucky for its third event, and a pairĀ of titles will be on the line at this amateur event. Kyria Christison and Co. also promote events in the Hoosier State under the name Indiana Fighting Championship, and they have been one of the more consistent organizations through this year.
Rising star Aaron Highbaugh (6-2) will look to defend the middleweight title that he won in October, as he is set to square off with Justin Potter (7-8) at 185 pounds. Highbaugh has won three in a row via stoppage, including a submission win in his last outing. The bantamweight title will also be on the line, as Jackie Watters (6-1) looks to continue his winning streak against Ron Fitch (3-5). Watters has won four fights in a row dating back to 2011, and he’s the only fighter to defeat Cody Gabelman in his career.
Former bantamweight champion Garrett Potter (5-2) will be back in action, as the 19-year-old is set to take on Elliott Blair (6-4). Both fighters are actually coming off of losses, so each guy will be looking to turn the ship around with a win here. The winner of this fight would seem to be in line for a title shot in the near future.
