Ohio sports betting is one of the hottest topics in the state right now, and Cincinnati area breweries are set to get in on the fun,. Both Rhinegiest Brewery and Taft’s Ale House have recently added sportsbook partners.
Rhinegiest recently opened a sports-watching area in the Tipico Sports Deck, as they partnered with New Jersey-based Tipico to create a space in a nook in their taproom for enhanced viewing. There aren’t any physical betting machines in the location, but fans can bet via sports betting apps in Ohio including Tipico.
While the sports deck is open now, Rhinegeist plans to continue to add enhancements through the rest of the year.
Rhinegeist also recently partnered with Columbus-based Local Cantina to fill the restaurant space on the ground floor of their brewery. Guests will be able to order tacos and other food from kiosks in the taproom and get the food delivered to them.
Just down the street in Over-the-Rhine, Taft’s Ale House has renovated most of its lower level to debut a sportsbook area in partnership with FC Cincinnati that will serve as the soccer club’s in-person sports betting option.
The Taft’s location does feature sports betting kiosks, as well as staffed betting windows and of course plenty of TVs. FC Cincinnati teamed up with Las Vegas-based SuperBook Sports.
