Cincinnati’s downtown has added two new brewery taprooms, as both March First Brewing and Voodoo Brewing have opened within the past week.

March First opened in the former Rock Bottom Brewery space on Fountain Square. The location is a feature for all of their brands, including Astra Hard Seltzer, Cincinnati Distilling, and their cider brands.

The location also features an extensive lunch and dinner menu with a garage-like door that opens up to Fountain Square during the warmer months.

An independently owned and operated Voodoo Brewpub Cincinnati opened on 8th Street as well.

Voodoo Brewing Co. was founded in Meadville, Pennsylvania in 2005 and opened its first taproom in 2012. They currently have 18 total locations, including franchises as far away as Colorado and Nevada. They have another Ohio location in Cleveland Heights.

Chris Sands is the local operator of the Voodoo Brewpub Cincinnati franchise, which is on the first floor of a five-story building on 8th Street in the Central Business District. The 4,000 square foot space features a bar and kitchen, as well as 24 taps with Voodoo beer as well as guest taps.

No beer will be brewed at the Cincinnati location, and the food featured will is elevated pub food.
