MadTree Parks & Rec is set to be the third location for MadTree Brewing Company, joining their original location in Oakley as well as MadTree Alcove in Over-the-Rhine.
MadTree Parks & Rec will be located at Blue Ash’s Summit Park, as they plan to convert an existing 15,000 square foot airplane hangar into a taproom with an outdoor and recreational vibe.
Per the press release:
The concept ties into the park’s green spaces with the creation of a massive outdoor area featuring unique elements catering to all ages. Plans are still in development but visitors will find things like cornhole, extensive outdoor seating, and walking trails. The expansive taproom features indoor/outdoor areas, private rental space and of course, continues MadTree’s tradition of providing some of the best beer, cocktails, and food offerings in Cincinnati.
The building is also expected to be LEED certified and will continue MadTree’s partnership with the local parks system, as they have focused on increasing the local tree population for years.
MadTree has been no stranger to winning awards in their decade in existence, including medals at the Great American Beer Festival for Happy Amber (2018, 2022), World Beer Cup for Ziegler (2022) and Legendary Lager (2022), and nine medals at the US Open Beer Championship.
