HOOKnSHOOT

HOOKnSHOOT returned to its home base in Evansville, Indiana over the weekend, and in addition to honoring HNS veteran and UFC legend Chris Lytle by inducting him into their Hall of Fame, the long-running organization also celebrated its 20 year anniversary with a solid amateur fight card.

Three amateur titles were on the line, including the heavyweight, lightweight, and featherweight titles.

At heavyweight, Dontale Mayes (7-0) stayed unbeaten as it took him just 49 seconds into the second round to earn a TKO victory over Colter Brown (4-2).

In a bout that we featured as one of the best of the weekend in the Ohio Valley, Markus Hall (8-3) improved his already impressive record as he stopped Tre Harbin (4-3) via TKO in the second round to claim the lightweight title.

And at featherweight, Renaldo Weekley (8-1) needed just 29 seconds to stop Carlos Garnett Jr. (4-1) to claim the 145-pound title.
