Ohio Cage Combat returned to the Glass City over the weekend, as OCC: Beatdown in T-Town 3 took place in Toledo, Ohio. The amateur event featured 13 total bouts, including a pair of women’s offerings.
In a rarity for main events, the women took center stage as veterans Ashley Hawkins (4-2) and Katie Vanderhoff (3-3) squared off for the organization’s state title. Hawkins took home a razor thin split decision in her first bout since 2012.
Also of note, Jake Beach (3-1) stopped Joe Garcia (4-4) via TKO in the first round to earn his third straight victory.
