The fight card for IT Fight Series 33 is starting to come together, as five bouts are now official for the event. IT Fight Series 33 takes place at Stars Indoor Sports Complex on May 23 and is available via iPPV via LiveSportscaster.com.

Stepping in to the main event is Georgia’s Manuel Correa (1-1), as he replaces the injured Charlie Gathers and is set to face Columbus native Alfred Leisure (3-0) at 135 pounds. Correa comes in off of his first professional victory, a decision win over Travis Knight at NFC 66 last June. Correa also posted a 5-1 amateur record, but has just one finish to his credit through eight official bouts. Leisure has yet to taste defeat in his career, as he capped off a 6-0 amateur record in 2012 before making the jump to the pro ranks. He earned his first two pro wins via knockout, before earning a unanimous decision victory over Mike Velazquez at IT Fight Series 29 in November in an entertaining fight of the night performance.

The amateur card is off to a fantastic start, as Canada’s Dalton Brady (4-0) and Pennsylvania’s Jason Alexander (4-0) will square off for the organization’s bantamweight title. The 20-year-old Brady has been impressive in three appearances for IT Fight Series, including a first round submission over Danny Moore on the organization’s first Columbus card 11 months ago. He will take on Erie, PA’s Alexander, who steps into the cage for the third time in less than a month as he looks for his first title win. Alexander was impressive in his last outing, as he submitted Cortland Woodard at Pinnacle FC 10 just this past weekend in the first round after accepting the bout on just two days’ notice. Prior to that, he earned another first round submission at a King of the Cage event in Western Pennsylvania in late April.

At light heavyweight, two of the best in the Midwest will square off as Lance Phillips (5-0) looks to stay unbeaten when he faces Chicago-area fighter Brenden Toler (6-1). Ronin Training Center’s Phillips has stopped all five of his opponents in the first round, with the longest of his bouts lasting just 1:37. Toler is also a finisher, as he has stopped opponents in all six of his wins, including five via submission.
