DVD Brew hosts grand opening this weekend in Loveland

Cincinnati will host its first new brewery grand opening of 2024 this weekend, as DVD Brew is set to finally open in Loveland.

Longtime homebrewer Dana Depenbrock (his initials are DVD which give the brewery its name) decided to open his own space, and DVD Brew was born.

Located in a former carwash, DVD Brew is the dream of Depenbrock, who has been homebrewing for 20-plus years. He’s won local and national competitions, and his bock beer was named grand champion at the 2019 Bockfest.

Depenbrock did most of the brewery buildout himself. The brewery features a 5-barrel brewhouse, while the former self-service bays were be transformed into the taproom. There is also be ample outdoor seating with a full patio.

The brewery will have more than 20 of their own beers on tap to celebrate the opening, as well as spirits and seltzers. They do not serve food, but Casa Mexico Grill and Cantina’s food truck will be on hand.

DVD Brew is located at 1555 Loveland Madeira Rd. Check out more Cincinnati breweries coming soon here.
