Another summer weekend, another new brewery taproom grand opening. This weekend, Freboard will open their third location at the Factory 52 development in Norwood.
The Blue Ash-based Fretboard opened their main brewery in 2017, and then expanded to Hamilton as they opened the Fretboard Public House in the former Quarter Barrel location in 2019. The Norwood location will be their third location overall, as they join the likes of Taft’s and Braxton with more than two taprooms in the Cincinnati area.
The Factory 52 location is a 6,000 square foot taproom also features a large patio and a small pilot brewing setup in the back. Factory 52 is also home to Hi-Wire Cincinnati, the Asheville-based brewery’s taproom and first foray into Ohio that opened in the spring.
Fretboard’s location is on the lower end of part of The Gatherall, a food hall that also features 14 food vendors, including Lucius Q BBQ, Decibel Korean Fried Chicken, Fulton Yards, Melt Revival, Shango’s Urban Taqueria, and more.
