As the gap between Cincinnati and Dayton continues to get smaller, one of the Gem City’s favorite breweries is inching toward the Queen City, as Warped Wing’s Barrel Room & Smokery is now open in Springboro.

The location is set to focus on barrel-aged beers, craft cocktails, and smoked foods. A large indoor taproom is flanked by a robust outdoor patio, which is dog-friendly.

With social distancing in place, the 20,000 square foot taproom can seat 200 guests.

Warped Wing’s original location is located in Downtown Dayton, just steps away from the popular Oregon District dining and shopping area.

Warped Wing is known for a variety of core beers, including Gamma Bomb IPA, Ermal’s Belgian Style Cream Ale, 10 Ton Stout, and Trotwood Lager.

The Warped Wing Barrel Room is located at Wright Station in Springboro, which ties in perfectly with the history of the brewery’s name. The name ‘warped wing’ comes from the Wright Brothers famous invention known as ‘wing warping.’

Warped Wing Barrel Room & Smokery is Springboro’s second brewery, joining Crooked Handle Brewing Company just to the north. Nearby Centerville currently boasts three breweries – Lock 27 Brewing, Heavier Than Air Brewing Co., and Sojourners Brewstillery – with Loose Ends Brewing nearing a grand opening within a few weeks.
