Cage Fury Fighting Championships is live tonight in Philadelphia, PA for their final event of the year, as CFFC 53 goes down at the 2300 Arena in the city of Brotherly Love.
Tonight’s card features 10 bouts, including six in the pro ranks and in the main event, the CFFC heavyweight title will be on the line.
Current CFFC heavyweight champ Zu Anyanwu will defend his title for the first time against Ohio’s Dan Spohn, a UFC and “Ultimate Fighter 19” veteran who is moving up from heavyweight for the title shot.
In the co-main event, former CFFC title challenger Jordan Stiner will face fellow Philly native Anthony Morrison, a WEC veteran who makes his CFFC debut.
A pair of fast-rising welterweight prospects will look to stay unbeaten, as PA’s Sean Brady takes on Canadian Aaron Jeffery.
Featherweights Ryan Cafaro and Jacob Bohn will also square off, and the main card will be rounded out by a pair of pro heavywight bouts, as Chris Birchler faces Ed Abrasley and Shawn Teed takes on Chris Daukaus.
