Explosive Fight Promotions held its final event of 2015 on Thanksgiving Eve, as Caged Madness 39 went down at the Tadmor Shrine in Akron, Ohio.
A packed house was on hand for 13 amateur bouts, including a super heavyweight title bout in the main event.
EFP super heavyweight champion Nick Brashear (6-0) successfully defended his title, staying unbeaten with a second round kimura submission over Tyler Tschour (5-2).
Beards were on the line in the co-main event, which was also a rematch, but it was EFP middleweight champion Frankie Festa (6-1) who was able to pick up a second victory over Mike Seibert (4-5), forcing him to shave his beard after the judges awarded the Pittsburgh native a decision win.
A pair of fast-rising stars from Evolve MMA also stayed unbeaten, as Tywan Claxton (2-0) picked up a unanimous decision while Brian Hauser (3-0) earned a second round TKO.
EFP will return in January, as Caged Madness 40 takes place on Jan. 16 at the same venue.
