The inagural Tru-Form Entertainment event in Indiana is set for this weekend, as matchmaker Bobby Emmons has put together a solid nine-fight card for ‘Gladiators‘.

The event, which takes place at the Tyndall Armory in Downtown Indianapolis, will be headlined by a lightweight bout between Tom Shoaff (8-1) and Cliff Wright Jr. (8-7).

Shoaff, who is quite the star in the Chicagoland vicinity, is riding a two-fight winning streak headed into his headlining match-up. The only blemish on his nearly flawless record is to that of now Titan FC fighter Kurt Kinser (8-1).

With eight victories including wins over Derek Loffer, Austin Tweedy, and Cameron VanCamp, it should come to no surprise that Shoaff is not far off from getting onto the radar of larger organizations. If the Illinois-native is able to pull off a highlight reel finish, this could be the last time the 26-year-old competes on the local level.

Of course, he will have to get past the Bellator veteran in Cliff Wright Jr. One quick look at his resume and you might think the Hard Drive MMA fighter is on the last leg of his career. With five losses in his last seven fights, including the decision loss against undefeated Larue Burley at Bellator 117, the Iowa native is ready for this opportunity.

Heavyweights will throw down in the co-main event, as another popular fighter will be in action when Danny Surface (3-3) takes on Cory Moon (3-2). Surface is coming off of a win over Ronald Carter from July, while Moon hasn’t competed since 2013.

After a solid amateur career, Sean Fallon (2-4) is still looking to gain his footing as a pro. He’ll get that opportunity when he welcomes Wisconsince native Kendrick Terry (1-3) to Indiana for the first time.

Along with becoming the new owner of Nice Guy Submission Fighting, Emmons has been busy putting together one of the best cards in the Hoosier State this year.

2 days away!!! thanks to all studs who are fighting on this card, and thanks to Josh Griggs for hiring me to make the magic happen. And the magic is about to happen. Saturday night, downtown Indianapolis,” Emmons posted on Facebook. “Tickets at promotiontix.com, and anything left will be available at the door. See you all there!! Beer. Fights. Food.”
