The fight card for next month’s Hoosier Fight Club 26 is coming together, as the organization will head to the Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, Indiana on November 14 for their latest event.
In the headlining attraction, middleweights Muhammad Abdullah (5-1) and and Nick Kraus (9-3) will square off with the organization’s 185-pound title on the line.
Abdullah comes into the fight having won his last two, with the only blemish on his record being a loss to current UFC fighter Chris Dempsey. The Ohio native is perfect so far in 2015, earning a win over Cristofer Sprinkle in May and then following that up with a decision win over Steven Bell later that month.
Coindecentally, Kraus’ last loss was also to Dempsey, as he’ll step in to the cage for the first time since earning a victory over Daniel Vizcaya at HFC 21 last September. The 27-year-old will have the luxury of fighting on his home turf in Indiana as he looks to move his record under the HFC banner to 4-0.
A total of six pro bouts are set for the event, including a welterweight battle pitting “The Ultimate Fighter 16” veteran Kevin Nowaczyk (11-3) against veteran Quartus Stitt (8-7).
Nowaczyk is an 11-time HFC veteran, having won his last four bouts for the promotion. He’ll fight for the first time since earning a victory over William Ward at HFC 21 last year.
The Illinois native Stitt comes in looking to stay above .500 as he has won three of his last four.
Another intriguing welterweight battle is also on tap, as Michigan native Bobby Nash (4-1) will take on Craig Fruth (4-2).
