It looks like this season of “The Ultimate Fighter” is going to be fun.
We already knew that things would probably get heated when current UFC interim featherwieght champion Conor McGregor and former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber signed up to coach opposite teams on the 22nd season of the UFC’s reality show, but things were kicked up a notch when it was annouced that the Ireland native McGregor would coach a team of European fighters against Faber’s American team.
Ohio Valley MMA fans may recognize a familiar face in the promo video below, as Ohio native and current UFC bantamweight Cody “No Love” Garbrandt is seen shoving the lightning rod McGregor during one of what appears to be many heated exchanges throughout the season.
Garbrandt is a member of Team Alpha Male and helped serve as an assistant coach for Faber’s team during the season. He is currently 7-0 overall and is 2-0 in the UFC.
