Ten pro bouts are set for tomorrow night’s Valor Fights 23, an all pro event that goes down at the Smokey Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
In the main event, Kentucky native and XFC veteran Julio Gallegos (7-3) looks for his fourth straight win as he faces Justin Fisher (7-1) in a fight that has excitement written all over it. Fisher is on a two-fight winning streak himself, and the fighters have a combined 11 finishes in 14 victories. Gallegos has never been to a decision and has three knockouts and four submissions on his record, but he will fight for the first time since XFC 23 in Louisville over two years ago.
In another pivotal bout, Drew Kennedy (5-2) takes on Taylor Callens (4-0) at welterweight. Kennedy looks to snap out of a two-fight losing streak while Callens looks to pick up where he left off as an undefeated fighter after nearly two years out of the sport.
Anthony Morgan (5-4) is looking to regain his footing after posting wins in just two of his last six bouts, and he’ll look to get back on the winning track when he faces Jonathan Pearce (1-0).
Kennedy, Callens, Nick Gehrts, and Matt Baccus all joined BluegrassMMA Live earlier this week to discuss their fights on the card.
Valor Fights 23 will also be streamed live via the organization’s official website, www.valorfights.com.
