Explosive Fight Promotions has its latest event set for this weekend, as Caged Madness 35 goes down at West High Auto in New Philadelphia, Ohio on Saturday night. The amateur card features 16 bouts, including a headliner that pits veteran Travis Soto (8-3) against Jeremiah Leviege (3-2) in a welterweight contest.

Other notable bouts feature unbeaten featherweights Patrick Mix (4-0) vs. Collin Kaplowitz (2-0) and bantamweights Charles Woods (2-1) vs. Sam Daviduk (2-0).

Soto is set to compete for the first time since 2012, when he had a no contest against Chico Bays at UVC 20. Prior to that, Soto won three of four bouts – all via submission. His most recent win was a second round submission over AJ Materna in June 2012. Leviege has also won three of his last four, with all three of those wins coming in under a minute. His most recent win was a 41-second guillotine choke submission over Ryan Depugh at RFO: Big Guns 14 last October.

Mix is a New York native who makes his debut in the Buckeye State. After making his amateur debut 13 months ago, Mix has reeled off four straight victories, including a 69-second TKO in his second fight and a 43-second submission victory in his last outing in January. He faces Kaplowitz, who has earned submissions in his first two outings.

After losing his amateur debut, Woods comes in looking for his third straight victory. Most recently, he earned a TKO stoppage over Aaron Felton in the second round at Caged Madness 33 in January. The 19-year-old Daviduk has submitted his way to a 2-0 record, as he looks for his third win in less than six months.
