The stage is set for Saturday’s Caged Madness 33, as Explosive Fight Promotions brings a 15-bout card to West High Auto in New Philadelphia, Ohio. The card is anchored by a rousing main event, as a pair of young exciting pro fighters will square off in a bout that has Ohio Valley fight fans salivating.

Andrew Law (4-2) will look for his fifth pro win, as he welcomes Trent McCown (6-2) back into an Ohio cage for the first time since 2011. Both fighters are known as finishers, with all 10 of their combined wins coming via stoppage. And to add more intrigue to the bout, each fighter has only been stopped one time. It’s a great style matchup, as the aggressive and powerful McCown will look to impose his will on the lanky Law, a judo black belt who will undoubtedly look to land some of his crowd-pleasing throws.

A little bit of fuel will also be added to the fight, as both fighters are coming in off of losses and looking to rebound and start a winning streak.

The co-main event will also feature a pair of young pro fighters, as former EFP amateur champ Jerrell Hodge (0-1) looks to pick up his first win as a pro when he faces Pennsylvania’s Jeremiah Yeager (1-3). Hodge was one of the top amateur fighters in Ohio before turning pro, winning titles in the NAAFS and Pinnacle FC organizations to go along with his EFP title. But he came up short in his pro debut in June, losing via submission in just 38 seconds. Yeager recently picked up his first pro win after starting off 0-3.

A total of 13 amateur bouts are also on tap, including a main event for the heavyweight title. The big boys will square off, as a pair of unbeaten fighters compete for the vacant EFP title. Former NCAA All-American JD Ramsey (4-0) will look to continue his dominant streak since taking up mixed martial arts, as the Branden Hinkle protege has made a seamless transition into his new sport. He’ll face the Pennyslvania native Steve Mowry (5-0), who already has one title belt on his shelf as he earned the GOTC amateur title in his last outing.

Other notables who will be in action include a matchup of veteran welterweights Aleksey Itunin (7-6) vs. Travis Soto (8-3), light heavyweight Lionel Woods (5-1), undefeated welterweight Zak Trout (3-0), and more.

I recently penned a list of the top 5 reasons why you should check out this card for StandThemUp.org, which you can check out here.
