IT Fight Series will make its way to Dayton this weekend, as IT Fight Series 38 goes down at the Action Sports Center in Ohio.
As previously reported, five pro bouts are set for the event, including a headliner featuring Rob Hanna taking on Matt DiMarcantonio for the vacant featherweight title.
In the co-main event, Strikeforce veteran Jan Finney will take on Allanna Jones at 135 pounds. Both fighters have faced new UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm.
A minor change was made to the pro portion of the card, as Dayton native Anthony Morgan (3-2) will now face New York native Jason Trzewieczynski (4-6) after his original opponent Howard Reece pulled out of the bout.
On the amateur side of things, eleven bouts are set, including heavyweights Ryan Shough (2-1) vs. Justin Richwine (3-2) and welterweights Jake Miller (3-2) vs. Treg Wells (7-6).
Shough has won back-to-back fights after dropping his amateur debut. Most recently, he picked up a win over Caleb Choate at IT Fight Series 33 in May.
Richwine is coming in off of a win, as he submitted Mesmaran Sunseray with a rear naked choke at IT Fight Series 35 in September.
Miller has won three fights in a row after starting off his career 0-2, and most recently he stopped Steffyn Parsons via TKO in the second round at IT Fight Series 37 just last month.
Wells is looking to snap a losing streak, as he has dropped three in a row and is just 2-3 in 2015.
