Northeast Ohio based heavyweight Stipe Miocic (12-2, 6-2 UFC) has an opponent for his next UFC fight, as the Cleveland product is set to take on Mark Hunt (10-9-1, 5-3-1 UFC) in the headlining bout at UFC Fight Night 65 on May 10 in Adelaide, Australia.

It will be the fourth main event spot for Miocic, including his third in a row. The former Cleveland State wrestler and baseball player most recently took on former UFC champion Junior Dos Santos at UFC on FOX 13 in December, and although he came up short, it was one of the best fights of the year and many scored the five-round affair for Miocic. Prior to that loss, Miocic was on a three-fight winning streak with victories over Fabio Maldonado, Gabriel Gonzaga, and Roy Nelson. He is currently ranked No. 4 in the UFC’s official heavyweight rankings.

Hunt will also be coming in looking for redemption, as he too came up short in his last outing when he was stopped via TKO in a loss to Fabricio Werdum at UFC 180 in November. A native of New Zealand, Hunt will be fighting in his adopted home country of Australia for the third time in his career. He is currently ranked No. 5 in the UFC’s official heavyweight rankings.

UFC Fight Night 65 takes place on Sunday, May 10 in Australia, but due to the time difference it will air in the U.S. on Saturday night on the UFC’s streaming Fight Pass service.
