September 27th – Charleston, WV
Mixed martial arts returns to West Virginia as the Virginia-based Ruckus in the Cage will hold their 22nd event at the Charleston Civic Center. Many veterans are on this all-pro card (West Virginia still doesn’t regulate amateur MMA), and the main event will feature a heavyweight title fight as Billy Ayash (6-1) takes on Adam Sepulveda (2-2).
Three other pro titles will also be up for grabs at the event: Kentucky’s Portland Pringle (6-2) takes on West Virginia’s Zac Gobel (4-2) for the welterweight title; undefeated Josh Baker (6-0) faces Anthony Morgan (5-3) for the bantamweight title; and a pair of Bluegrass state veterans will vie for the light heavyweight title, as Michael Cockerham (7-10) takes on Joshua Blanchard (6-4).
