Northwood Cider Co. was Cincinnati’s first dedicated craft cidery that opened in November 2022. They closed in 2025.
Located in Norwood, the group of two couples remodeled a former automotive brake shop into an open and airy taproom with plenty of greenery.
The group decided on cider because there’s a gap in the Cincinnati market – which was one of only three major US markets without a dedicated cidery. They’re attempting to capitalize on the fact that many consumers are looking for lower calorie and lighter options than beer and wine.
