Alexandria Brewing Company
7926 Alexandria Pike, Alexandria
9664 Crescent Park Dr, West Chester – coming soon

Alexandria Brewing Company opened in Alexandria, Kentucky in April 2018, becoming the eighth Cincinnati brewery south of the Ohio River in Northern Kentucky. The brewery has its own little area, with the closest fellow breweries being miles away.
The brewery sits in a strip mall-esque center with a few other co-tenants, but it’s clear already that the brewery is the feature here. They have a small patio and food truck outside, and the patio is dog friendly (the inside of the brewery, however, is not).
The inside of the brewery reminds me of a big industrial space, with high ceilings, plenty of high top tables, and big projection screen for watching the game. There’s a counter to order from the food truck to one side, with the bar featured in the corner.
Alexandria is owned by Iraq war veteran Andy Reynolds, who learned brewing at the famed Siebel Institute in Chicago.
West Chester
Alexandria Brewing will open a second location in Summer 2025 when they take over the former DogBerry Space in West Chester. DogBerry closed in 2024 after moving to the space in 2017. Alexandria said they began looking for a space around the same time of their closure. The location is smaller than their original space in Alexandria, but they plan to make more space by taking out some of the brewing equipment and only focusing on brewing small batches in West Chester with their main production at their original location. Their food partner, Bender’s Pub Grub, will also open up alongside them in West Chester.
Must-try beer: Brothers in Arms (Russian Imperial Stout) – It takes guts to come right out of the gates with a big, boozy barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout to hang your hat on, but that’s just what Alexandria Brewing Company did with their flagship beer. They’ve released the beer aged in Elmer T Lee and Knob Creek barrels, and both have had rave reviews. The beer is also an homage to the military as ABC is veteran owned.
Other great beers: Sessions in Black, Garden of Heaton
